The important facts about our food. I have never been one to impose my political opinion on others. However, in this election I do feel strongly people have the right to know which foods are genetically modified.

Julianne's Baby Shower

Some say that "it takes a Man to make a boy." Others say, "it takes a Man to make a girl." But to me neither of these sayings is valid, instead I say, It takes a Man to raise that child.

With that being said, below are the pictures of Julianne's baby shower.

Take me out to the ball park.

It is said that the sport of baseball is lacking American born players to be role models for kids. Some say that the slow pace of the game is driving away the interest of American youth. Therefore, kids look to other sports that are flashy, hyped and emulate the current popular hip hop culture.

However, others state that the disinterest in baseball by American youth is because many fatherless kids nowadays do not share that special father-son relationship many men shared with their fathers growing up.

I for myself, I do have very vague memories of my father taking me to the Dodger game, and of course, seating in the left field pavilion. Him being proud that the best pitcher for the Dodgers was a Mexican from his home state of Sinaloa. I remember my mom telling me that her favorite Dodger was Dusty Baker. And I specially remember me telling people that Fernando Valenzuela was my uncle because Fernando and my Dad had shared the same name (Valenzuela) - I have to thank my uncles for making me believe that lie at age of four (sarcasm). Even though eventually I was embarrassed when I learned Fernando Valenzuela was not my uncle, it is a wonderful memory that I cherish knowing that my father introduced me to the game of baseball. For this very reason I now drive to San Diego to create special memories for My son; to cheer for our team in the enemies territory - GO DODGERS!
